Cindy was born on August 24th, 1964 and passed away on July 15th, 2023 at the age of 58.

Our dear mother, Cindy K. Nelson, 58, sadly left us on July 15, 2023. Cindy lived a fulfilling life as a beloved daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend, and she will be terribly missed.

Cindy had a lot of gifts, she enjoyed crafting, decorating and braiding hair. Her most exceptional and precious gift of all was being a grandmother. Cindy was an exceptional “Nana” and loved her G-babies so much! She set the bar so high with all the love she gave them, and they will miss her so much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Bertha Nelson. She is survived by her sisters Teresa (Ivan) Denson, Diana (Rene) Brown and brothers Mark and Tim (Gretchen).

Her legacy will live on in her daughters Candace (Madio) Lee, Brianna Nelson (Richmond, VA) and Ebony (Joe) Christmon (Olathe, KS). Her love and memories will forever be in the hearts of her grandchildren: Illissia, Madio II (Beatrix), Galen, Xavier, Cameron, Illiana, Christian, Jayla, Joe, Jacoby and her first great-grandbaby Journei.

Cindy will live on in the hearts and minds of everyone she loved and interacted with.
