Michael “Mike” Lesher
Mike Lesher, 57, of Lawrence, Kansas passed away December 11th at his home. Mike was born on March 14, 1964. A private funeral services and Celebration of Life was held prior to his burial at Mount Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

After graduation Mike worked at several jobs inside. He didn’t like working inside, so he started working construction. He worked for Richard Tuggle, Tim Green, Mike Crumet, and Joe Drinnon. Due to this he helped build many houses in Lawrence, Topeka, Tonganoxie, Eudora and else where. He was a excellent dependable worker.

In 2008, Mike had a heart attack and had a triple bypass. After 8 weeks he was back to building houses. Mike worked hard and played harder. In Lawrence, his favorite watering holes were at the Pool Room and Crimson & Brews. Mike loved the Chiefs and KU Basketball. His health started to decline in 2018 when he was forced to quit working. Mike met his “coffee” club each morning at Crimson & Brews.

Mike passed away with family by his side on December 11th 2021. He will be missed by friends and family.
