Services for Mark A. Mitchel, 41, Baldwin, will be at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Warren-McElwain Mortuary, Lawrence. Cremation will follow.

Mr. Mitchel died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, while fishing at Lake Shawnee in Topeka.

He was born Aug. 23, 1962, in Liberal, the son of Farrell D. and Ruth M. Hammer Mitchel. He graduated from Lawrence High School in 1982 and attended a technical college.

Mr. Mitchel was a member of Trout Unlimited. He was a lead mechanic for Westside 66 and a disassembler for Mid America.

Survivors include his mother, Lawrence, and a sister, Miriam Mitchel, Eudora.

Family will receive friends from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.

The family suggests memorials to Trout Unlimited, sent in care of the mortuary.
