Iberia , Mo – Services for John Perry Martin, 24, Brumley, MO., will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Ozark, Mo. Burial will be at Hawkins Cemetery, Brumley, Mo.
Mr. Martin, who lived in Lawrence from 1971 to 1988, died Saturday from injuries he suffered in an automobile accident at Mobile, Ala. He was born May 15, 1964, at Quonset Point, R.I. the son of Robert and Angela (Bisges) Martin. His parents survive of Brumley, Mo.
Mr. Martin was a 1982 graduate of Lawrence High School and was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Lawrence. He was a U.S. Navy fireman apprentice aboard the USS Lexington, whose home port was Pensacola, Fla.
Before entering the Navy, he was a construction worker in Lawrence.
Other survivors include two sisters, Donna Falkenstien and Janet Martin of Lawrence; and his paternal grandmother, Mildred Stuhr of Brumley, Mo.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. thursday at the Stevinsion-Mossman Funeral Home, Iberia Mo. Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
